About the Speaker
Bryan Small is a Research Associate at the Museum of Texas Tech University
where he also received his master's degree. He has been working in the Paleozoic
and Late Triassic deposits of Colorado since 1990. He has also done field work and
research in the Paleozoic of Nebraska and Texas, and the Late Triassic of Texas, as well as
dabbling in the Late Jurassic Morrison Formation of Colorado. His research interests include
faunal response to climatic change across the Carboniferous/Permian boundary and the faunal
communities of the Late Triassic of the western USA. He lives in Aurora with his wife and sometimes field partner, Yanmin Huang.
