Poster Session
The Founders Symposium welcomes posters on any topic associated with paleontology. The goal of the poster session is to showcase paleontology to both symposium attendees and the public. Posters that have been previously shown at scientific conferences are welcome.
We encourage posters from:
Western Interior Paleontological Society members who want to share information about their projects
Students in paleontology who’d like to gain experience developing and presenting scientific posters
Recipients of WIPS’ Karl Hirsch Memorial Grants and Jordan Sawdo Service and Outreach Grants reporting on their work
No registration required – come see the posters, exhibits and art!
Posters will be on display both Saturday, March 25, 2023, and Sunday, March 26, 2023 during symposium hours. No registration is required to view the posters, browse the Paleo Art Show & Sale, and enjoy the educational exhibits. Just come to the Ben H. Parker Student Center at the Colorado School of Mines and look for signs directing you to Mammals! From Mini to Megafauna in one of the ballrooms.
